These were supposed to be 200g cakes but we got 180g cakes instead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This Yongde shu made from 2022 spring sheng which was fermented to shu in 2023. It's delicious with notes of cashew, chocolate and caramel.

Very good Shou! Deep, rich, earthy, flavorful, complex and well rounded. It’s an easy sipper if you enjoy Shou but watch out! The cha qi is powerful.

Look at my review for the mini for notes on taste, but just know that it was so good it made me double down and get a whole cake it was so good!

Maybe this is titled Astronaut because the qi is heavy and you feel the same free floating as an untethered astronaut during a space walk. I had a sample of this a while ago, and the tea really has a nice earthy profile; plus the qi is on point. I absolutely had to snag a cake!
