A super cool Shu! The taste up front was sweet and creamy, almost like a creamsicle but for stone fruit. But the lingering taste was something ENTIRELY unique. It gave me a wonderful cooling sensation, almost like menthol, which was very pleasing.
I brewed the 8g dragon ball in a 4-5 oz gaiwan, gongfu style of course, with a roughly 25 second first steep to open and loosen the leaves, then each subsequent steep was maybe 5-10 seconds (I've found that with shu, especially shorter steep times are better).
Overall a great tea to start the day!
