This is surprisingly sweet. It started mellow at the first few sips and then the tip of my tongue started registering something sugary in there I didn’t expect the rest of the way through. It was very pleasant.

For some reason, after that first impression brew, this tea has consistently had a plastic smell and taste each separate time I’ve brewed it. This involves different containers of different materials—glass, ceramic, and metal. I’m not entirely sure why. I’ve even tried adding herbs to it to work with that flavor and it’s just not hitting the same anymore.
