2023 Mr. Moonlight 100g Bai Mudan cake

This tea cake is wonderful with quite a lot of silver needle-ish buds and the leaves themselves are a lively shade of green. The tea soup is light, tasty, and floral! I have only had baimudan as a loose leaf so having it as a cake is such an experience. I will be buying this again in the future, once I finish this one!!

Delicate flavor at a reasonable price for everyday drinking

Loved this so much I got a second cake just to age it! Accurate description on tasting notes, and because it is a "greener" white tea, be sure to lower the temp! (brewed it gongfu style)

Wonderful for lighter mornings because of the bud content boosting the caffeine in this.

So like most times I always try tread with mom and rarely do we Agree on the taste profile however when it comes to this mister moonlight we had to agree that it was a really good tasting tea

It starts of with a very light scent before steeping
After the first rinse it gets a bit grassy but not that green smelling

As we steeped it gets lighter and sweeter with that “citrus rind” flavor that stays present all through without it getting sour or “ lemony”

We absolutely love this white tea and will continues to buy if available
