Enjoy whole tangerine rinds stuffed with high quality shu pu-erh.

The leaves were stuffed in wet, and allowed to dry in the sun for a week. The smell and taste of citrus is strong in this tea. Break some of the dried tangerine rind and brew with the tea for more citrus taste.

Each piece is about 25 grams in weight

The first brew was incredibly thick, smooth, and earthy. There was a familiar citrusy tickle in the aftertaste but not very much. I added a teaspoon of honey to this 8 oz brew, and the sweetness was almost unnoticeable. Even with the honey it was too rich in earthy taste for me to fully enjoy. The second brew was much much better.

This gets a 3 star because I was hoping for a more clear citrusy taste but it was barely there. The tea would have been 5 star if that was not my expectation, since it is one of the smoothest and most pleasant pu-erhs I’ve tasted so far.
